Plastic Dreams!

I can only think of about 2 other times in my buying career where I have been as excited as this to get in a new line. When I walked into the Melissa shoe booth last week at Coterie I literally couldn't contain myself. I mean, can you blame me? Look at this stuff. This is an actual, wearable shoe made entirely out of PLASTIC! Yes, plastic... reminiscent of your childhood jelly shoes. It looks good enough to eat! It attacked all of my senses, but it was a visual overload! This Brazilian designer has also teamed up with the likes of Vivienne Westwood (as seen above) & Alexandre Herchcovitch to create these wearable works of art. We ordered the ultra cool lace ballet shoe in nude and black to get you FLY girls started. I am currently counting the days until they are due in store. Exactly 78...

Sinful Pleasures Event & Trunk Show

Just a quick shout out to all of you who came out to support the FLY this past Thursday for Fashionably Late. You girls (and FLY guys alike) are awesome! The place was packed! It was such an amazing night! With our 60's Brigitte Bardot inspiration (that Jackie ROCKED so damn well) our modern and vintage threads came to life! Thanks to Justin Woods from Mizu salon and Kacie Corbelle the magician make-up artist, we were truly able to bring a Modern 1960's vibe to the show! We also wanted to thank the Liberty Hotel for inviting us to host such a HOT event and Joe Freeman from Dynasty Models for hooking us up with the best models in Boston! There is one thing we are sure of... we have the best customers in the city!
